Studio + Creative Manager 

Sunday Suppers Studio 

This position is Brooklyn based
Full time M-F 35-40 hours per week + overtime opportunities

The right person is: highly organized, hard-working, excited, motivated, a true self starter and a team player. The job consists of a mixed bag of tasks and assignments and is the right fit for a motivated young creative who is searching to join a a young and hip space at the intersection of food, community and design. These three topics are of supreme importance and carry through in all that we do. You should be super passionate about these topics and of course about Sunday Suppers and our mission. 

You will be assisting in the brainstorms, creative production and styling of all sunday suppers events, gatherings and photo shoots. It is important that this candidate have a great aesthetic and interest in design as well as a very organized right brain side as well. Administrative work will relate to both Sunday Suppers and our sister brand ILA. 

The two most important attributes in this position are organization + passion. You should be equally excited by a really organized excel sheet as they are about a great aesthetic moment. 

This person will get to be involved in the exciting day to day maintenance and projects of a busy studio and food brand. 



If you are strongly considering this position, please note that this is an entry level position with an opportunity for growth. Hours will be 30-45 hours a week including weekend or evening work. This is a long term opportunity and should not be viewed as a temporary gig or internship. We would expect a minimum of a one year commitment but hope for more. 


1-2 years of work in a creative or design savy brand is ideal. Experience with basic brand support is key, knowledge of excel, mail chimp, shopify and other basic platforms is a must. 

Duties + Responsibilities 

will include any and all of the following

Creative Work
assist in styling events and photoshoots
maintain visual boards and recipe archives
create and research blog posts and content
orchestrate social media posting/projects as needed
research props and styling elements as needed


Administrative Tasks
handling client correspondence + email
funneling all inquiries to the two brands ILA + SS, as needed
organizing contracts and invoicing for shoots + corporate clients
basic photo production for shoots
maintaining internal database of clients, press and contacts
managing studio for rentals and interfacing with clients
receiving and maintaining correspondence with all wholesale orders and buyers
overseeing all orders + shopify tracking for ILĀ  orders
occasional errands + sourcing both online and in-person
studio maintenance and general order + cleanliness
creates + Manages occasional mailings for marketing materials

This person should also be equally comfortable doing the less glorious tasks like washing dishes, tidying the floors, taking out trash, organizing the pantry and prop closet, making coffee and lifting boxes. 

Social media savvy: this means having your own strong aesthetic on pinterest, tumblr or instagram, following current trends in the market regarding food, design, travel etc. 

Computer Skills
These skills must be on point, proficiency in mac programs a plus but overall a strong ability to create documents, spreadsheets, do online research and maintain an organized process throughout. 

Additional knowledge of photoshop, indesign, big cartel, iWork, excel, wordpress/tumbr are valuable 

The following skills are a plus: 

Photography (assisting or editing)
Video (capture and editing)
Recipe testing and/or developing

Events + Special Projects Director

This position is Brooklyn based 

PART TIME | about 3 days a week , 20 hours per week + overtime opportunities (please have weekend flexibility for events)
Hourly wage 

The right candidate is versed in small gatherings and event production, has a great eye for detail as well as an ability to oversee the general flow and vibe of an event. Knowledge of food and design are key here, as well as an immense passion for what we do at sunday suppers: Food, Design, Community.

We are looking for an eager and excited person to jump into things quickly. There is a huge opportunity for growth in this position - and weekend hours are a must.

We are a very small group at Sunday Suppers, our team is warm, amicable - pleasant and truthful, easy going and at the same time know when it is appropriate to work and put their head down. Sunday Suppers maintains a very clear and concise style, a natural and organic approach - a taste for the simpler things. Having an aligned aesthetic is crucial to the job and comes into play in everything we do. 

Be capable and comfortable managing small teams to ensure the flow and production of our events and dinners

Organization + Detail
This person must be insanely detail oriented and obsessed with organization, it is truly th only way to create flawless events 

Programming + Finger on the Pulse
Behind the scenes work to coordinate and program workshops and dinners for the year 

Any previous experience in event production, gatherings, dinners - classes and or restaurant management would be a huge plus here

Food Knowledge
You do not have to be a chef - but you must have a deep knowledge and passion for food, it’s building blocks and flavor profiles. Feel comfortable jumping into the kitchen if need be and be well versed enough to work with our chef to create beautiful food and brainstorm menus for our gatherings.

Oversee and implement Design for events
Participate in other special projects at Studio as they arise
